New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has rejected a petition filed by the Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) officials to stop FIR. An FIR can then be lodged on the Order of the Kakadaduma Court in February this year. In fact, the examination was conducted by the DSSSB for recruitment of primary teachers in 2018 and 2019.

The question paper of this examination contained some questions related to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes which were derogatory. A petition was filed by advocate Satya Prakash Gautam seeking registration of fir against the chairman of the DSSSB in this regard. However, during the hearing in the Kakadaduma court, DSSSB Chairman Santosh Vaidya had brushed aside the case last year saying that he was not chairman at the time the papers were set.

Though an apology was made by the DSSSB in the court over derogatory questions in the case, no action was taken against any officer. Now, after the high court dismissed the petition, it is believed that an FIR may be lodged against some officials.
