Kanpur: The fire broke out in five factories at Dada Nagar in Govindnagar police station area, burning properties worth crores of rupees. The guards and staff escaped, but a family was also engulfed in flames. Fire personnel rescued all of them safely. The fire has been brought under control after about five hours of fighting. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The damage assessment is continuing.

According to information, five factories are operational in a large vacant plot in Sector B of Dada Nagar. It consists of waste, churran, chemical, scrab and iron. The fire broke out in the warehouse of Kachri on Tuesday morning for unknown reasons. The fire started to engulf the warehouse. The family of Virender Singh, who lives inside the factory, was engulfed in flames. Somehow, the people there took the whole family out of the factory. But their whole household was burnt to ashes.

At the same time, the flames from the Kachri factory also engulfed the Churran, Chemical, Scrab and Iron factory. The whole factory began to burn with smoke. The fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot. The workers worked to fill the empty fire brigade trains from nearby factories. The entire factory was cordoned off and water was showered. The fire could not be caused. The fire was extinguished by breaking the walls and blazing the factory.
