Nine people were killed at a Dance party in a Warehouse in Oakland, California. The authorities have begun the search as the fear the death toll may rise because many other people from the party are missing.

The cause of the incident and the exact number of party attenders is still undetermined hours after the two-storey building caught fire. The fire broke out at 11:30 p.m on Friday was witnessed in Fruitvale district, where many artists reside. Mayor of the town said, "its a devastating scene."

Sergeant Ray Kelly, a spokesman for the county sheriff, told that "Nine fatalities were initially confirmed, and authorities were "expecting the worst" as they sought to account for "a couple of dozen" people who were reported missing, ".  

Also a drone airplane was engaged over the destroyed building to find any living inside but no sign of life was seen. Many people offered prayers for the dead in Church on Saturday night.
