New Delhi: A fire erupted in a cluster bus at the Jagatpuri bus stand in East Delhi on Thursday, causing alarm among passengers and onlookers. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries.

According to a senior official, the incident occurred when the bus, which was carrying around 40 passengers, caught fire. The blaze was quickly contained thanks to the swift response of three fire tenders that arrived at the scene promptly. The area surrounding the bus was cordoned off to ensure the safety of both passengers and emergency responders.

Station Officer (Fire) Anup Singh provided an update on the situation, stating, "We rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. No casualties have been reported, and the fire has been fully doused. According to the driver, the fire started due to a short circuit in the bus’s air conditioning system."

Emergency crews worked diligently to manage the situation, and all passengers were safely rescued without any reported injuries. The fire’s cause is currently under investigation, and further details are awaited as the authorities continue to assess the incident.
