Fierce fire breaks out in Carrom Board factory of Meerut

Meerut: Recently, a fierce fire has started in the factory for making carrom boards running illegally in the residential area in the district. According to the information received, the smoke of the fire penetrated into the surrounding houses and caused a stir in the area. It is being told that the wall of houses built near the building has been slammed. The fire brigade vehicles were called, who controlled the fire. A person named Nasir has a factory for making carrom board in Zakir Colony of Lisadi Gate police station area.

After seeing the smoke rising late at night, the people around informed the fire department. After that, the fire department came immediately and started working. It is being told that wood, carved boards and cylinders were kept inside the factory. That is why the fire spread throughout the warehouse. On seeing the fire, smoke filled the houses built around the factory and many children went unconscious. The fire department managed to control two hours of hard work and after that, the fierce fire was controlled.

In this case, the fire officer has said, 'To extinguish the fire, a dozen vehicles were engaged.' Apart from this, the cause of the fire has not been clearly known. Two cylinders were kept inside the factory. Cylinders burst with fire when ignited. However, it was considered that no one was injured in the blast. The fire also caused cracks in the surrounding houses. The local people created a ruckus against the factory operating illegally in the residential area.
