Saraikela: A massive fire broke out in a clothes shop due to a short circuit late Wednesday night in Station Road near the Kandra Bazar in Jharkhand's Saraikela district. In a while, the fire intensifies and also left three nearby shops reeling under the fire.  According to information received, a massive fire broke out late in the night due to short circuit in Nandlal cloth store located in the Station Road of the Kandra Bazar.

According to the information, the fire, which burned other items including clothes kept in the store, was also engulfed by a shoe store and general store just next to the store. All shops and belongings kept within them have been badly burned by the fire. The local people tried very much to extinguish the fire as soon as the fire took off, but the flames went up and there became a stampede-like situation there for a while.

In the aftermath, local people reported to the Jharkhand fire brigade about the fire, which was followed by fire workers who arrived at the scene after about 3 hours of hard work to control the blaze.
