Mumbai: A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Mumbai. The fire department has evacuated about 15 people from the building. All these people were trapped in the building due to suffocation. The fire department has rushed all the people to a nearby hospital with the help of local administration. where their condition remains critical.

According to a senior fire department official, the fire department received information about the fire in a 21-storey building at Ram Nagar in suburban Wadala (East) at around 3:33 a.m. on Friday morning. The fire brigade team was rushed to the spot. The fire brigade team who rushed to the spot found that there was a fire in the first floor of the building.

He said, the fire brigade team has brought the fire under control after about 25 minutes of exercise. Meanwhile, efforts were also made to evacuate people trapped in the building. After extinguishing the fire, the fire brigade rushed inside the building to evacuate 15 people who were trapped in the blaze due to suffocation. The 15 rescued people include nine women.
