Fire in Karachi Hotel , kills a minimum of 11 people

 A giant blaze broke out at a hotel, named Regent Plaza, in Karachi killed 11 people and left 65 of them injured. 

The Dawn news reported, "The blaze broke out in the kitchen in the ground floor at the Shahrah-i-Faisal, and spread across the six-storey building, trapping scores of hotel guests in their rooms."

The fire brigade and rescue team came to location and after a struggle of three hours were able to keep hold onto it. Many people jumped off the floors causing several fracture injuries and some of them also inhaled smoke. Still many people are stuck inside the hotel and rescue operation is on.
