Washington: A gunman fired in a busy area of Seattle, US. One person died in this shootout, while seven others are said to be injured. The police confirmed this on Twitter and said that they are investigating the accused. The media quoted the police as saying that at least one suspect is being searched for the incident that took place on Wednesday.
In footage of the scene, officers can be seen with casualties on the sidewalk near Third Avenue and Pine Street. Police Chief Carmen Best has told press persons at the scene that one woman died and many people were injured in the firing incident. All the injured have been admitted to Harborview Medical Center. The media quoted the officials of Harborview Medical Center as saying that seven people are being treated, including a nine-year-old boy.
The media quoted Tyler Parsons, who works in a nearby coffee shop, as saying that he saw people suddenly fall and many people came to his shop to avoid firing. He said, "This firing incident was very frightening". This is the third incident of firing in the area in two days. This type of incident has had an impact in schools, churches, cinema and other places across America.
