New Delhi: Once again domestic flights will start service in the country from 25th May. The first flight will depart from Delhi Airport at 4.30 am on Monday. Videha Kumar Jaipuria, CEO of Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), informed the passengers about the rules to be followed at the airport regarding domestic flights.
On giving information on Saturday, he said that the first flight will take off from Delhi airport at 4.30 am on Monday. There will be 190 departures and 190 flights a day. He said that initially there are 20,000 passengers in the departure and arrival flights. Bookings are being done in the range of 50 to 55%. Videha Kumar Jaipuria said that the Arogya Setu app is not mandatory for travel. Passenger temperature and self declaration form will be sufficient.
He further said that the passengers will have to write their name, PNR number on a paper on their luggage. It will not be necessary to stop for a security check, only to keep your belongings for scanning. The CEO of DIAL stated that the airport staff is divided into three categories. First low risk, second medium risk and third high risk. On this basis they will be provided PPE kits.
