Jaipur: A case of rape by consuming intoxicating cold drinks has been heard in Jaipur. He used to rape a young woman by threatening to make her obscene videos viral. The victim has lodged a report at the police station. Police said that on September 5, 2021, the 23-year-old had gone shopping at a cloth shop in Sanganer. She had a conversation with the accused Kamlesh, who had come there to buy clothes. The accused Kamlesh took her mobile number. For a few days, the two talked on the mobile and became good friends. After about 10 days, the accused called her to a hotel to meet him.  

Obscene video made in hotel: The accused offered the girl to drink cold drinks in the hotel room. Due to the intoxicating substance found in the cold drink, the young woman started fainting as soon as she drank. The accused Kamlesh raped her in an unconscious state. He also recorded her videos.

One lakh also grabbed: It is reported that when she came to her senses, she protested, then the accused showed the obscene video made. Which he threatened to make viral and asked to stay calm. Blackmailed with the obscene clippings, the accused repeatedly raped her and demanded one lakh rupees.

The distraught girl lodged a complaint with the police station: According to the information received, the victim told about being engaged and asked to delete the picture. After which the accused called her to a hotel at JLN Marg on March 13 and raped her. At the same time, the accused also refused to delete the picture and thus put pressure to maintain the relationship. Aggrieved, the victim lodged a report at the police station. The police have registered a case of rape and under the IT Act.
