Commencing its sacred odyssey from Jammu on a Friday morning, the inaugural group of pilgrims destined for the Budha Amarnath temple in Poonch began its spiritual expedition. As August 31 draws near, the administrative apparatus in North Kashmir's Bandipora district is meticulously orchestrating preparations for the impending 'Chota Amarnath Yatra.' Nestled within the picturesque expanse of Arin Valley's lush forests, atop a Himalayan peak, stands the revered Maha Daneshwar temple, affectionately known as 'Chhota Amarnath.' Within its sanctum lies a celestial secret – an ice lingam, a natural formation nurtured by trickling water droplets.

The Yatra follows a 15-kilometer route through the serene Arin-Dardpora region, winding its way via Shampthan before culminating at the revered Chota Amarnath Cave. The local populace is fervently supporting this spiritual endeavor, advocating for improved infrastructure along the pilgrimage path.

As the countdown to the 'Chota Amarnath Yatra' approaches its zenith, the landscape resonates with prayers and arrangements. It's a convergence of unswerving devotion, communal concord, and a shared commitment to ensuring each pilgrim's journey is enriched with spirituality and utmost safety.
