Immigration minister of Canada John McCallum congratulations to every one inside and outside who helped federal government to bring in 25000 refugees but says there is much more still need to do.
McCallum told reporters gathered at airport, “ we are not having massive celebration about this because it’s only the victory of phase one.” Adding in this he said government has managed to establish 25000 Syrian refugees which cost 700$ billion which we fix in budget, we did not spend the reserves that we have established.
Effort has shifted to phase 2 and now planning to help find permanent living arrangements, jobs and get them to enrolled in language training.
McCallum said in next 10 days he is going to announce in parliament to update the country about number of refugees they are expecting at the end of the Year.
He said, “ its important that we are sending message to the world its important that we are helping 25000 thousand people from desperate conditions to having happy and productive life I the Canada.
