First Rank Raju film’s teaser is out today and is full of smiles. Kannada blockbuster film First Rank Raju is remade into Telugu with the same title. Chetan Maddineni is the lead role and veteran actor Naresh played a crucial role. First Rank Raju is a spoof on the current education system and it describes the story of a youngster who turned out to be a bookworm after his parents strain him with studies.

First Rank Raju, the topper who is a book-worm and great at academics. But his problem is this. He has been raised such that he doesn't need to acquire social knowledge. He doesn't have general knowledge, common sense. This makes his life difficult. At the same time, it evokes laughs. While the plot reminds us of 100% Love to an extent, but this is dealt in a different way. The treatment makes it different. It has a good dose of fun. How Raju succeed in dealing with these and how does he win his love forms the crux of the story.

Thanks to producer Manjunath, Director Naresh Kumar has delivered a promising teaser and production values are great. The dialogues in teaser deserve special mention. Brahmanandam's comedy seems to have worked. Shekar Chandra's camera work is fine and Kiran Ravindranath's music is good. Cast like Prakash Raj, Naresh, Priyadarshi makes the film to watch out for.
