Ramgarh: A surprising incident is coming out from Ramgarh in Jharkhand, where the police have arrested the lover who had incited his girlfriend to commit suicide. The police have recovered the suicide video of the girlfriend from the lover, which was recorded during WhatsApp calling.

The incident is of Barlanga police station in Ramgarh district. Married Payal Kumari, a resident of Purbatad here, committed suicide on 19 November 2022 by hanging from a fan. Thereafter, the father of the deceased filed a dowry murder case against her husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law. Police started investigations from every point. When the police investigated the matter, it was found that the love affair of the deceased Payal Kumari was going on before marriage. She was in love with Manjit Kumar, a resident of Kumhardiha Barkagaon Hazaribagh. Even after marriage, they used to talk. The word of this had reached the husband of the deceased woman. Due to this, there was a mutual dispute between the deceased and her husband several times. Even after this, the woman's conversation with Manjit Kumar continued.

After a few days, the lover stopped talking to the deceased to get rid of her. Also had a fight with the deceased over the phone. The woman was pressurizing the lover to meet. Then both promised to meet on November 26 at a wedding function in the village. But, Manjit went to Pune on 18th November without informing. Thereafter, the deceased started insisting Manjit to return. But, Manjit flatly refused to return. The deceased did a video call and talked about ending her life by hanging herself with a saree. But, instead of refusing to hang Manjit provoked her and asked her to die. In the case, Barlanga police station in-charge Raghunath Singh said, "On 19 November 2022, the dead body of Teju Singh's daughter-in-law Payal Kumari was found hanging from the noose of a saree in his house in Purabatad village of the Barlanga police station area. After the investigation, when the police strictly questioned the lover, Manjit broke down.'' He further said, "Manjit gave the video of the deceased hanging to the police at the time of the incident. He saved this video in a pen drive. The police are now preparing to send Manjit, the lover who instigated the murder, to jail."
