NEW DELHI: UP's Varanasi has become the first airport to enjoy ultrafast 5G service.
The launch of Airtel's 5G Plus service at Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport was announced on Friday.
While they are in the terminals for arrival and departure, lounges, boarding gates, migration and immigration desks, security areas, baggage claim belts, parking areas, etc., passengers can use their mobile phones at lightning speeds.
All customers with 5G devices will be able to use Airtel 5G Plus at high speeds with their current data plans. According to a representative, the current Airtel 4G SIM is 5G capable, so changing the SIM is not necessary.
