Clashes between two groups led to the killing of five people.
Manipur: The clashes between the groups nowadays In Manipur at the Makhan Village near the Indo-Myanmar border in factional clashes between suspected Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland NSCN (IM) and a combined group of the Coordination Committee (CorCom) and Manipur Naga People's Front (MNPF) at least five people have been killed.
It is said that among those killed two were suspected cadres of the MNPF, and other three suspected to be from the Coordination Committee (CorCom) group.
The further detail in the matter is yet to come.
The Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland group remains active in the Northeast area. The main goal of the organisation is to establish a sovereign Naga state, "Nagalim", which would consist of all the areas inhabited by the Naga people in Northeast India and Northwest Myanmar. The coordination committee was formed on July 2011.
