On Wednesday night, a pregnant software employee committed suicide at his residence in Papireddy Nagar in Jagadgirigutta. She married a few months ago. Many things were announced during the police investigation.

According to the police primary investigation, the woman's name is Krishna Priya. She worked in a software company in the city. In June this year she married her businessman name as Sarvan Kumar and the couple lived in Papireddy Nagar in Jagadgirigutta with Shravan's parents. During the wedding, Krishna Priya's parents gave dowry to Shravan, but after she got pregnant, Sarvan and his parents alleged that she was harassed for extra dowry.

On Wednesday night, Krishna priya was accused of hanging in their house. She was five months pregnant. Her parents alleged that Shravan and his parents killed her and committed suicide. Based on their complaint, the Jagadgirigutta police have registered a case of dowry death and are investigating. The body was shifted to Gandhi hospital and handed over to the family on Thursday after the autopsy.
