World Photography Day is celebrated around the world on 19th August. Some pictures are a reminder of a great event or revolution. On the other hand, there are some pictures that depict a new era and some are recorded as documented in history. Today we have brought to you 5 pictures that have attracted the attention of the whole world.

In this photo taken by Life magazine photographer Alfred Einstein, Mendonsa is seen kissing a woman in joy. The lady nurse is in uniform. In the joy of the end of World War II, the nurse was captured by the naval nurse on camera.

This picture is remembered as a document of the brutality of the U.S. military in the Vietnam War. Life magazine photographer Eddie Adams captured the photo on his camera.

The migrant crisis is currently being discussed all over the world. The body of this father and daughter was found lying on the banks of the Rio Grand River. In the photo, the 23-month-old daughter's head is in her father's T-shirt, the father's daughter was trying to enter Mexico across the river, but she died in the middle.

This photo was taken by photographer Kevin Carter in Sudan. He also got the Pulitzer Prize for this. But people criticised him a lot about the picture. They were told that while the vulture was keeping an eye on the child, he too, like the vulture, sat on his camera and did not try to save him. Carter also died of depression a few days later.

2-year-old Aylan Kurdi, who became a symbol of the tragedy of the civil war in Syria. The body of the Kurdish was found off the Turkish coast, which died due to falling into the sea. The Kurdish family fled Syria and was on their way to shelter in an oversized boat when it fell into the innocent sea and died.
