Jabalpur: Chatting of five policemen posted for security in a sensitive area of Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh became expensive. He has been suspended for the charge of chatting on WhatsApp while on duty. While giving information on Sunday, District Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Singh said that five policemen posted in security have been suspended for chatting on WhatsApp while on duty.

These policemen were deployed for security in sensitive areas of the city. The decision was taken after the Superintendent of Police noticed these policemen busy on social media during surprise inspections in sensitive areas. Security arrangements have been tightened in the city as a precaution in view of the Supreme Court verdict on Saturday in the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case.

Singh told the media that more than 2,500 policemen have been deployed in various areas of the city and around 25 temporary police posts have been set up. Apart from this, the police is patrolling the entire city. With this, all the suspects are being monitored, so that there is no untoward incident.
