New Delhi: Amid the ongoing border dispute with China, the strength of the Indian Airforce is going to increase soon. In fact, today 5 Rafale fighter jets from France will fly to India. Indian Air Force pilots are bringing these aircraft. All these fighters will reach Ambala station in India on 29 July.

Rafale aircraft will reach India after traveling 7,364 km from France. The aircraft in between will be refueling at UAE's airbase. After this, Rafael will fly to India from here. Significantly, India has purchased a total of 36 Rafale aircraft from France. The first batch of 5 aircraft will reach India on 29 July. So far, 12 pilots of the Indian Air Force have completed their training for Rafale. Some other pilots are in the final stage of training. According to the agreement between the two countries, France has to train 36 Indian pilots to fly Rafale. Most of these will be trained in France.

Earlier on 2 June, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke with his French counterpart Florence Parley. During this, Parli assured Rajnath Singh that Rafale would arrive in India in due time, the corona would not affect the delivery of the planes. Let us tell you that Rafale will be equipped with 3 types of surefire missiles. These include air-to-air meteor missiles, air-to-ground scalp missiles and hammer missiles. These make Rafael more powerful than other aircraft.
