Disney alumni association inductee Steven McCoy is a host of the popular show “Sessions with Steven”. The show is produced by Steven himself and it regularly features personal interviews with famous media and public figures. His life story is really inspiring and here are five things you can learn from him-

Hard work is the key to success:-

It doesn’t matter what your background or what situation you are born into, you must work hard to achieve success. Steven had a rough childhood and school years were particularly tough on him. Steven started from the bottom as just an intern for Walt Disney Orlando, Florida but his dedication and hard work led him to have a successful career later on.

No job is small:-

Steven had one goal in life – To become a successful entrepreneur in the entertainment business, but he worked as radio host for Disney and Walt Disney theatrical production too. He even worked as script writer for BET Network’s “106th and Park”. After getting all the experience in life, he finally decided to start his own business.

Everyone struggles in life:-

Life is always full of struggles and big hurdles, but it should never demotivate you. Steven is a born fighter. He faced racism and discrimination growing, but he never let those things bother him and he continues to move forward toward his life goal and finally got it too.

Be and inspiration to others:-

Steven cites the reason behind his decision to start his own company is to inspire other people who have had similar difficulties as him. He believes in setting up his own rule and fighting for the freedom to live the life the way you want. According to Steven, his upcoming work next summer will inspire a lot of people and he has given details of the path to success in it.

Steven is a very charitable person and frequently organizes charity events and give drives. His recent charity event “Sessions with Santa '' was on Christmas where he and his family gave away toys and prizes to unprivileged people. All we need is a one inspiring figure to achieve success in life. Being humble is also very important and things we can learn from Steven McCoy will sure assist us in life ahead.
