Mahabubnagar: Tourism Minister V Srinivas Gaur on Wednesday inaugurated the five-day National Aero Games and Para Motor Adventure Championship at the stadium at the district headquarters. The five-day festival will host many programs such as hot air balloons, sky diving and remote controlled para motor flying.

V. Srinivasa Gaur appealed to the people of Mahabubnagar district to participate in a large number of air sport and para motor adventure shows. The minister said the government plans to set up a para motor adventure training center at the district headquarters for the first time in the country.

During this, the Tourism Minister said, Mahabubnagar has recorded tremendous growth in all sectors in recent years. The largest eco park was established in the district and the largest international kite festival in the country was held at the district headquarters last year. He said that kite lovers from 15 countries participated in the kite festival. District Collector S. Venkata Rao said that the championship is a sankranthi gift for the people of Mahabubnagar.
