Flash back to childhood memories with today’s blissful rain…!!!!

I think barely any Indian who loves rains, are untouched by these beautiful touching lines which engrave the fade memories of our childhood.

“Bachpan ki wo amiri,

 na jaane kahaan kho gyi.

Varna barish ke paani me humare bhi,

 Jahaaz chala karte the”

Life is a long voyage, full of barriers that either work as a speed breaker or stops us in our paths, creating bedlam for us.

During the uneven pathway, we forget to enjoy ourselves; we forget what we love, even we forget our sweet childhood memories, it seems fade. We become more rational and mature, but forget our faintly playful and amusing self somewhere behind.

We become more smart and intelligent, but somewhere we lose the ability to make elegant choices related to our mental well being. We grow taller and stronger, but we abstain from throwing around a ball like we used to when we were younger. We become focused on making money, but we don’t looking for fun in the free belongings on hand to us in life.

But, just for a second, think do you wished for all that raindrops, which you ever enjoy in your childhood???

So; go out feel each and every beautiful little drop, stand outside your office, home to enjoy the rain pouring around you, and put your hand out from under your umbrella to feel the cold droplets.

Some of you will think what nonsense I’m talking out. But trust me it will bring you a certain kind of joy that is hard to explain. It’s fascinating to see the leaves of the plants still holding water droplets long after the rain has stopped. It’s beautiful to see the water which calmly flows down the roadside and hilly areas.

Do you remember? Small circle of friends and the small colorful paper boats which you put them in one of those flowing water and all of you were very curious to see where they might end up. After the rains halted, the smell of the wet soil would just awaken the senses. The smell of hot tea or warm pakoras would make your mouth water as well, we also insisted our parents in every rainy day, to bring out news umbrellas and rain coat.

So, it’s the time to relive those playful memories once again. Revisit those fun times when it rains. I’m not talking about to make boats but just remembering priceless moments spent with family. Good memories bring you more joy than ever when revisited. Now as we grow out of our clothes and shoes doesn’t mean we should grow out of old fun times.
