New Delhi: The country's leading e-commerce company Flipkart has taken a big step to strengthen the delivery network. The company has tied up with 27,000 grocery stores in 700 cities across the country in view of the upcoming festive season. This will strengthen the company's network. Flipkart has said that the move aims to improve the e-commerce experience of 16 crore customers as well as reach out to new areas. Apart from this, the company also wants to help grocery stores with increasing income.

The company said that this will help in reaching millions of new customers during the upcoming festive season and Big Billion Days. Flipkart's delivery network is already very strong and delivers at least one million parcels a day to all PIN codes in the country. The company said that in view of the upcoming festivals, it started six months ago to connect grocery stores across the country with its network.

It is noteworthy that during the festive season and Big Billion Day, sales of the company are seen to increase significantly. The company says the move will help it expand its reach in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Let us know that Flipkart has been acquired by Walmart.
