Patna, Today, According to the Disaster Management Department, flood situation in Bihar has eased but the water level in the Ganga and two other rivers remained above the danger mark at some places in the state.

The department said in a statement that, water level in rivers other than the Ganga, Ghaghra and Koshi receding in the affected districts.

Fourteen districts were gripped by recent floods resulting in death of 95 people in Bihar.

The Disaster Management Department by launching massive relief operations, had distributed 10,462 quintal flattened rice, 1,980 quintal jaggery, 9.91 lakh litres of kerosene oil, 68,584 polythene sheets, 2.45 lakh food packets among other materials to the flood-affected people, the statement added.
