But in Katihar, the Kosi river has continued to show its form on NH-31. Due to the rapid flow of the river, erosion is increasing along the highway, and people are in great trouble. Millions of people are suffering from floods. In Gopalganj, Bihar, 3 dozen villages along the banks of the Gandak River are in the grip of the flood. Dozens of houses are submerged. Now the support of the boat is left for movement. Only one part of the Satar Ghatal bridge collapsed in Gopalganj. A month ago, on 16 June, CM Nitish Kumar came to inaugurate this Mahasetu. It cost 264 crores to build it. The bridge took 8 years to build and only one month to collapse.
