Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to inaugurate the much-awaited Digital Acceleration and Transformation Expo (DATE) on November 23, marking a pivotal moment to spotlight India's burgeoning digital aspirations and technological advancements.
Scheduled for a two-day run, this event, hosted by Trescon, aims to delve into India's rapid tech transformation, discuss cutting-edge innovations, and emphasize the nation's growing digital footprint on the global stage. Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar will also grace the occasion as the chief guest, sharing insights into the escalating impact of emerging technologies and India's digital trajectory.
Taking place at Yashobhoomi (IICC Dwarka) in New Delhi, DATE is poised to bring together a spectrum of influential figures including tech leaders, burgeoning startups, investors, corporate decision-makers, and policymakers. The event seeks to celebrate India's achievements in the digital sphere, portraying the nation as a significant player in the evolving global landscape and the nexus of global value chains.
Among the distinguished speakers slated to engage the audience are Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council; Tejasvi Surya, MP; Abhishek Singh, MD and CEO of Digital India Corporation (DIC), and President and CEO of NeGD. Additionally, industry stalwarts such as Kamal Bali, President and Managing Director of Volvo Group in India, Sanjiv Bajaj, Joint Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Capital, Gopal Asthana, CEO of Tata CliQ, and Himanshu Chakrawarti, CEO of Snapdeal, are expected to share their insights.
