Due to heavy rains occurred in last two days, a flood alert has been issued in several districts of Uttar Pradesh.

All major rivers are in space, as Sharda and Ghaghra rivers crossed danger mark in Lakhimpur Kheri and Barabanki, the flood covers large area over several other districts.

"As many as 11 people have lost their lives in accidents caused by rain in different parts of the state, in the last two days", says reports.

People were affected in various districts including Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Khiri, Basti and Bahraich due to flood, keeping in the views the flood posts established to help the affected people have already started working in the affected areas.

Bulging Ganga's water has entered into Rasulpur village of Amroha.

River Budhi Gandak, in Kushinagar, is in spate due to water released from Valmikinagar barrage and continuous rain in upper reaches of Nepal.

The district administration has sounded flood alert for twelve more villages.
