The arrival of the rainy season is the arrival of mosquitoes, germs that gave birth to different Diseases. Usually, these diseases are spread by food. So here is a list of food items you should avoid in Monsoon

Green Leafy vegetables: Eating green leafy vegetables in the monsoon is avoided. This can lead to stomach infections. Spinach, fenugreek leaves, cabbage, cauliflower, etc are not vegetables that you should eat during the monsoon

No to Fried Food: Rainy season is a favorite season for Pakoda lovers so it’s perfectly fine to indulge in fried foods like pakoras once in a while, but you should take care of the proportion you eat because of excess can cause indigestion, diarrhea and other issues. Also, do not reuse the oil you’ve fried in once because that can be toxic.

Sea Food: The presence of pathogens and bacteria in the water during the rainy season may infect the fish, and thereby the person consuming it. Secondly, this breeding season causes several changes to occur in seafood which can cause harm. 

Mushrooms: It grows in damp soil and can have bacterial growth which increases the risk of infection once consumed, especially during the monsoon season. So it is better to say no to mushrooms in the monsoon.

No to curd: Having curd in the monsoon season could prove to be harmful to the body because of the cool nature of the food. In fact, if you’re already suffering from sinusitis, then strictly stay away from this dairy product. Eating curd also results in cough and cold.

Street Food: The temperature and moisture levels during monsoon are perfect for bacterial and fungal growth -- and there’s the added risk of waterborne diseases. So, it’s best to avoid eating out, especially street food, no matter how much you crave it. Stay healthy and say no to street food.
