On the occasion of Lohri, if you make spicy and spicy Amritsari Chole at home, then the fun of celebrations will increase even more. The good thing is that this dish can be made easily at home. Chole, onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes and many spices prepared with Amritsari chickpeas are very tasty to eat. Children especially like this recipe. This delicious recipe can be enjoyed at home with the whole family. Bhature, lassi can also be enjoyed with this dish. So let's know how to prepare this recipe at home.

Material required

Soak 500 grams of chickpeas in the night
4 finely chopped onions
5 -6 Black Cardamom
2 tablespoons Amchoor Powder
2 teaspoon garlic paste
Salt as required
Half bowl chopped coriander
3 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tbsp garam masala powder
4 tbsp coriander powder
6 t bags
6 finely chopped tomatoes
4 teaspoon pomegranate seeds
2 tablespoons ginger paste
4 green chillies
4 tsp ghee
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons turmeric powder
4 bay leaves
6 cups of water

Method of preparation: To make Amritsari Chole, first wash the soaked chickpeas with water. Now put the chickpeas in a cooker. Add water, tea bag and cardamom to it and let it boil for 20 minutes. Take the chickpeas out of the water. Also remove the tea bag. Allow cardamom to remain in water. Mix mango powder, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder in a blender. Add about 1 1/2 cup water to this material and make a smooth paste. Place a pan on the gas and when it gets hot, add the paste and ground paste. Mix this mixture well. Now keep it aside. Heat ghee in another pan. Add onion and bay leaves and fry for a while. Now add tomatoes and fry them. Add little water and add chickpeas to it. Cook in chickpeas gravy for at least 10 minutes. After this, garnish with chopped onion and coriander leaves. Serve it hot with rice, roti or naan.
