Hyderabad: The 24-year-year old passed away at the Anupama Hospital in KPHB. Tired of being constantly stalked, a woman resorted to suicide in Hyderabad. The woman allegedly poisoned herself after being constantly harassed. The woman used to work at Begumpet. The accused was identified as Rakesh Reddy. The deceased was allegedly admitted to the hospital by the accused. The deceased hailed from Maisampally of the Siddipet district.

Here it is to be noted that the KPHB police alleged that the deceased had moved to Hyderabad after completing her graduation. The deceased was employed as a data entry operator at a company in Begumpet. The deceased was living in a rented accommodation. To be noted that the accused and the deceased hailed from the same village. The accused is employed with a private internet service providing company. The accused had allegedly been proposing marriage to the deceased since the past two years and even after he repeated denial, he persisted. The accused allegedly used to call the victim and harass her.

However, it is worth mention here that the victim's father had allegedly warned him when he got know that the accused had been harassing the victim. The deceased and the accused allegedly met at a park and spoke to each other on the day of the incident. The deceased also made a phone call to her kin but did not complain about anything.  On the same day, the accused allegedly called the deceased's father and told him that she had consumed poison. The accused also informed the father that his daughter had been admitted to the Anupama Hospital for her treatment. After calling the father, the accused went missing.

The deceased's father stated that he had warned the accused after learning about the harassment. The accused alleged that it was the accused who had caused his daughter's death. A case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). No arrest has been yet.
