On Thursday, head coach Thomas Dennerby named a group of 23 players for the Indian women's team, who will compete in a four-nation tournament in Manaus, Brazil, alongside hosts Brazil, Chile, and Venezuela.

India is preparing for the Asian Cup in 2022, and as part of their preparations, they will play a match against each of Brazil, Chile, and Venezuela. Dennerby confirmed his lineup on Thursday, with the team leaving on Saturday (November 20).  All three games will be difficult, according to the coach, because they are against "very technical" opponents.

"Brazil is a fantastic team. Since my arrival, no other team has put as much pressure on our defence as Brazil will next week "Dennerby stated. "Chile is another very technical team in the second game, but we have improved our standards as a result of our hard work. The game against Venezuela will be especially difficult for us "The All India Football Federation cited the coach as saying (AIFF).

Dennerby believes that both of the veteran Brazilians are fantastic role models for young footballers around the world, and that the Indian kids are excited to play against them.
