Syed Zafar Abbas Takawi, head of the Shiite Jama Masjid Committee, said that people of Shia society are being urged to celebrate the festival at home. The government has urged them to celebrate the festival at home. People from Shia society have assured the police that no procession will be carried out on Thursday.
