USA: Legendary automaker MINI has unveiled the latest version of its iconic Cooper model for international markets. The updated hatchback has smooth-looking body panels, sharply-cut LED taillamps, an octagonal grille, designer alloy wheels, and some classic MINI design cues.
But what distinguishes the 2025 version from the 2023 version? Below is our comparison.
The MINI Cooper, which debuted in the 1960s, is regarded as an iconic model in the annals of British motoring. It was one of the first models to feature both a front-wheel-drive system and the room-saving transverse engine layout.

The hatchback was later brought back by the German automaker BMW in the early 2000s, and it will now be seen in an entirely new fourth-generation guise starting in 2025.
The 2025 MINI Cooper, like the Concept Aceman, showcases the brand's new design philosophy while maintaining the general shape of the current generation model.

It has slick-looking body panels, designer wheels, ORVMs, an octagonal grille, wide air dams, LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, and oval-shaped LED headlamps. Modernized "Union Jack" LED taillights are added to the hatchback's back end. The 2025 MINI Cooper's interior is a secret.
However, we anticipate the three-door hatchback to have a head-up display, multi-zone climate control, bucket-style front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument console, and a sizable infotainment panel in addition to a minimalist dashboard with amusing inserts. Multiple airbags and ADAS features should be used to protect the passengers.
At the launch event, which is anticipated to take place in late 2023, MINI will reveal the 2025 Cooper's technical specifications. However, we already know that in addition to a pure electric powertrain, the upcoming model will also be available with a selection of gasoline-powered ICE engines.

The British automaker will reveal the MINI Cooper's pricing and availability information at the time of its launch. The fourth-generation hatchback is anticipated to become a popular choice for auto enthusiasts all over the world thanks to its sharper looks and capable powertrain options. We anticipate it to cost more than the current model, which in India starts at Rs. 41.2 lakh.
