Severe cold in Delhi for next 3 days, Meteorological Department

New Delhi: Due to cold winds, winter is likely to increase in the national capital Delhi during the next three days. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the minimum temperature of the capital may drop by at least two degrees. Meanwhile, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded one degree each above normal on Wednesday.

Today, the bright sun was shining in most parts of the capital Delhi since Wednesday morning. The sun was very strong even during the day. Due to this the minimum and maximum temperatures have also increased. However, due to the recent rains, the moisture content in the air also remains. The day's maximum temperature of 21.2 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 8.4 degrees Celsius were recorded at Delhi's Safdarjung Meteorological Center. Which is one degree above normal.

Whereas, the moisture content was recorded at 98 to 48 per cent. The Meteorological Department has forecast that there will be an increase in melting due to cold winds in the middle of the coming three days. The minimum temperature during this period is expected to be around 6 degrees Celsius. Light fog will be visible in the morning. Whereas, the sky will remain clear during the day.
