Ford Australia recalled 15,924 of its 2017-2019 Ranger ute (shown above) and 5044 of the 2018-2019 Everest SUV due to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Please tell that Ranger models were sold between 19 December 2017 and 15 October 2019. While Everest models were sold between 30 May 2018 and 16 October 2019. Which includes a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine. In which 10-speed automatic transmission has been provided. The recall notice filed with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) stated that the transmission fluid pump may fail during driving.

Regarding this matter, Ford Australia says that if the pump fails, it will cause hydraulic pressure loss in the transmission and it is likely to unbalance the drive, which can increase the risk of accident. Also, the driver can also get hurt.

CarAdvice reported that Australian cars have "few" known failures, although Ford Australia says it has already improved "over 60 percent of the cars already affected". Also, a list could be identified identifying Ranger models. Is so that a solution to the problem can be found as soon as possible.
