New Delhi: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu reached New Delhi on Monday.

Naidu's Delhi visit appears days after he demanded the intervention of the union government in the matter of alleged attack on his party offices. He earlier expressed the need for the President's rule in Andhra Pradesh through Article 356 of the Constitution of India.

Chandrababu Naidu had alleged that the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) was accountable for the attack at the TDP Central Office in Mangalagiri."The ruling government is responsible for the attack on the opposition party office. This is an absolute failure of law and order in the state and the police department is acting as a party cadre. TDP is capable of having their own security if the police is a failure in giving security to the opposition," he had said.

Chandrababu Naidu has also demanded a CBI inquiry into the latest attack on the TDP office in Mangalagiri. He also raised the issue of the seizure of a large amount of heroin at the Mundra port in Gujarat. It was allegedly smuggled in by a Vijayawada-based firm.
