Swami Om, who appeared in television's famous reality show Bigg Boss, passed away today. According to reports, his health was deteriorating for some time. He was also admitted in AIIMS and died today. According to the sources, he was a victim of paralysis and its effect was on his half body. Swami Om had appeared in Bigg Boss in 2017.
This season there was a lot of controversy due to him. In this show, he was seen crossing his limit several times. This was the reason he was forced out of the house. Many Hindu organizations had also boycotted Swami Om after moving to Bigg Boss. Swami Om also contested from the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He had told that he is contesting against the anti-Hindu behavior of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
On the serious issue like privacy in the year 2017, on 24 August 2017, the Supreme Court imposed a fine of ten million rupees on Swami Om, who became popular with Bigg Boss. Swami Om had said in the petition that when appointing Judges in the High Court and Supreme, why is the recommendation taken from the CJI? On this, this case came before the bench of CJI Khehar and Justice DY Chandrachud, the court said that this is a publicity stunt. But Swami Om replied that he has already gained a lot of publicity through 'Bigg Boss'. In this case, last year, the court asked him to deposit Rs 5 lakh in 8 weeks instead of 10 lakh fine.
