Bangalore: Former Karnataka PM HD Deve Gowda has been found infected in the corona test. A source close to him has given information in this regard. Sources told the media, 'He has been found infected in corona tests, but he does not have symptoms. He has been admitted to Manipal Hospital.' He said that JD (S) leaders have been admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure. It also reported that the corona investigation of Deve Gowda's wife Chennamma has come out negative and she is at home.
CM Basavaraj Bommai has wished Deve Gowda a speedy recovery. Bommai tweeted, "I wish former PM HD Deve Gowda a speedy recovery from coronavirus infection and continue to work normally. Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar also wished God for Gowda's early recovery and said he was in touch with doctors treating the former PM and constantly seeking information about his health.
Coronavirus cases are growing rapidly across the country. Many senior politicians have been hit by corona before HD Deve Gowda. Last week, Meghalaya CM Konrad's Sangma Corona was found positive. He had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma in Delhi a day earlier.
