New Delhi: Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is in a critical condition. Home Minister Amit Shah went to AIIMS to get information on his health. According to sources, at 10 a.m. all the ministers will reach Delhi's AIIMS hospital to see Jaitley. Jaitley's condition has worsened again late Friday evening, his heart and lungs are not working properly.

Former Finance Minister was admitted to the country's premier hospital after he complained of weakness and palpitation on August 9 and has since been undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU). AIIMS has not issued any bulletin on Jaitley's health condition since August 10.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other top BJP leaders visited the hospital to take stock of Jaitley's health. He was transplanted to kidney in May 2018. He had undergone bariatric surgery (abdominal fat operation for weight loss) in 2016. Jaitley also has diabetes problems.
