Last night, former Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy died in a private hospital after a long illness. He was 86 years old. He has wife Ahalya Reddy, son Devender Reddy and daughter Samantha Reddy. His son-in-law Srinivas Reddy is the GHMC corporator.

In the primary health bulletin, Narasimha Reddy was reported to be suffering from pneumonia and other health problems after recovering from Kovid-19 three weeks ago. He was admitted to a private hospital because of his health condition. His condition in the hospital was serious, where he was on ventilator and also underwent dialysis treatment.

Naini Narasimha Reddy, born to a farmer couple in Neradugommu in Devarakonda mandal in Earth Vilnal Gonda district, studied to HSC. He started as the trade union leader in THE VST industries and played an active role in the Telangana agitation in 1969. Hindu Mazdoor Sangh continued to last despite his political affiliations and positions as honorary president.
