New Delhi: Today i.e. on Saturday, the 31st death anniversary of former PM Rajiv Gandhi is being celebrated. Since morning, politicians have been paying tribute at 'Veer Bhoomi', the memorial site of Rajiv Gandhi in Delhi. Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi and National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also paid tribute to the former PM by reaching 'Veer Bhoomi'. Along with this, Congress leaders P Chidambaram and Sachin Pilot also paid tribute to him.

PM Narendra Modi also remembered former PM Rajiv Gandhi. PM Modi said that tribute to our former PM Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi also remembered father Rajiv Gandhi. Rahul is currently in London. He tweeted, "My father was a visionary leader whose policies helped shape modern India. He was a kind man, and a wonderful father figure to me and Priyanka, who taught us the value of forgiveness and empathy. I miss him a lot and I miss the time we both spent together.
