Former President Barack Obama has another one of his summer playlists for us, which he shared recently, the playlist includes, Kendrick Lamar’s “Die Hard,” Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul,”  and Rosalía’s “Saoko” all made the cut this year, along with Jack White’s take on the R&B song “I’m Shakin’” which is not surprising considering he would naturally select songs from the era he grew up in or music he grew up listening to within his family household.

Obama’s summer and year-end picks in recent years have included Mitski, Mdou Moctar, Phoebe Bridgers, Bad Bunny, Wye Oak, Arooj Aftab, and more. After launching a podcast with Bruce Springsteen early last year, Obama co-created a book with the singer-songwriter from their discussions.

The Obamas now have an arrangement with Amazon after they recently ended their media company Higher Ground’s exclusive deal with Spotify.
