Chennai: According to the recent news, former judge of the Supreme Court and former head of the Law Commission of India Justice AR Lakshmanan has passed away. He died in a hospital due to a heart attack. His family has given information about this today. He was 78 years old and died at 11.30 pm on Wednesday at a hospital in Tiruchirappalli. He has two sons and two daughters in his family.

Justice Lakshmanan's son and senior advocate ARL Surandaresan said, "He suffered a heart attack at 11 am on Wednesday and was rushed to a hospital in Karaikudi where his condition was stabilized and then he was shifted to a hospital in Tiruchirappalli where he died before the medical procedure started." He was a member of Tamil Nadu in the Empowered Committee appointed by the Supreme Court on the Mullaperiyar Dam. Two days before the death of Justice Lakshmanan Arunachalam, his wife Meenakshi Aachi died on 24 August.

Now talking about Nyamurthy Laxmanan, he was born on March 22, 1942. He was born in Devakottai in Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu. He graduated from Madras Law College and was enrolled as a lawyer in 1968. He served as a public prosecutor on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government and has also been a permanent advocate of banks.
