Four govt officials suspended for unofficial absence in Kashmir

Bhaderwah, Four employees of education department have been suspended by the District authorities for unauthorised absence in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Farooq Ahmed (Seniour Assistant), Anu Manhas (CA), K D Shah (Auditor) and Lalit Kumar (Deputy Education Officer), are the employees who have been suspended.

According to the official, "During a surprise visit to Chief Education Office (CEO) in the district yesterday, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Bhupinder Kumar, found four employees absent from duty unauthorizedly".

DDC said, "Neither the leave application sanctioned by competent Authority was found available at the time of inspection nor the whereabouts of these officials were known".

Official added that the DDC immediately placed them under suspension till pending inquiry and recommended their names to higher authorities for desired action.
