Bhopal: A horrific car accident took place today (Monday) in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh. In this accident, four national-level hockey players died while three others were injured. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment. All these players were going to participate in the Major Dhyanchand Hockey Tournament to be held in Hoshangabad. The player was riding in the Swift Dzire car at the time of the accident, during which the car went uncontrolled and hit a tree. The speed of the car was very fast.

The speed of the car was so high that in the collision the car flew away and the car got stuck in a pit made on the road. The dead have been identified as Shahnawaz Khan resident Indore, Adarsh Hardua resident Itarsi, Ashish Lal resident Jabalpur and Aniket resident Gwalior. Apart from this, the other 3 people in the car are seriously injured, whose treatment is being done in the nearest hospital. All the players were going to participate in the ongoing Major Dhyanchand Hockey Tournament in Hoshangabad.

After getting the information of the accident, the local administration along with the police has also reached the spot. Police is investigating the accident from every angle. The road where this accident happened is of single lane, but due to the highway, heavy vehicles also pass through here. The speed of the car was very fast while trying to overtake a car, it went uncontrolled and crashed into the tree.
