On Friday morning, during a hardcore session of firing four terrorists were shot on the head by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag.
Reports have confirmed that the terrorists belonged to ISJK (Islamic state of Jammu Kashmir). If sources are to be trusted, it is being believed that the four terrorists were intending to attack the devotees on the Amarnath Yatra.
The Security facilities and arrangements are being looked into very precisely. The security checks would be taken into sincere consideration and would fallow a strict procedure. Previously terrorist activities in the valleys have increased immensely, which possess a great threat to the peace of the Amarnath Yatra. Allegedly the Centre government has sent a team of trained NSG commandos to check and resolve any possible threats that would interrupt the Amarnath Yatra. Around 24 NSG snipers have been provided to the BSF headquarters in Humhama Srinagar. While the other commandos are laced with the most exclusive range of weapons. Well, the Ministry of Home Affairs has not yet disclosed much information regarding the weapons.
The Amarnath Yatra to reach 3,880-metre high cave temple of Amarnath will initiate on June 28. On Friday the J&K governor NN Vohra talked about the security arrangements that he has planned with Army commanders to ensure security to the Yatris.
