Bhopal: Cyber hackers have done a big thing by hacking the website of the Election Commission of India. In this case, it is alleged that hackers have produced more than 10,000 fake voter ID cards. In fact, recently, Madhya Pradesh police have detained four teenagers from Morena in the case. On the other hand, the Election Commission has said, "Its website has not been hacked, its database is completely secure.'' Let me tell all of you that last Thursday, police in Uttar Pradesh arrested 24-year-old Vipul Saini for creating hundreds of fake voter IDs in the case.
Talking about the case, the police officer said, the interrogation of Saini revealed that he was acting at the behest of Arman Malik, a resident of Harda in Madhya Pradesh, and had created more than 10,000 fake voter IDs in 3 months. Not only that, the UP police reported the case to the MP police about the involvement of 18-year-old Hariom Singh from Ambah in Morena. Police are also trying to nab Hariom, the son of a daily wage laborer. Talking about the whole matter, Hariom Singh was directly in touch with Vipul Saini and kept an ID to sell it to others. Police have detained four teenagers in the age-old age of 17 to 19 who came in contact with Hariom last Friday.
Meanwhile, a man told police that he had at least one crore real and fake voter IDs and sold data to fraudsters who used fake IDs mainly to buy SIM cards, open bank accounts, and commit online frauds. Police say the teenagers allegedly claimed that they were working for Hariom. Now the police are trying to find out how much money they made.
On the other hand, an Election Commission spokesperson says, "Assistant Electoral Roll Officers (AERO) provide services to citizens and it is their responsibility for printing and timely distribution of voter ID cards. A data entry operator of the AERO office illegally handed over his ID and password to a private unauthorized service provider at Nakud in Saharanpur to print some voter cards. Both the persons have been arrested. The election commission's database is completely safe.''
