According to the latest depository data, so far in the month of November, Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have invested Rs 17,722 crore in Indian markets.

17,547.55 crore investment in shares
According to the data, from November 1 to November 22, Rs 17,547.55 crore was invested in shares while Rs 175.27 crore was invested by foreign investors in bonds. Thus FPI invested a total of Rs 17,722.82 crore.

That's why FPIs put in capital
FPIs infused this capital given encouraging domestic and international indicators. By the first 15 days of November, foreign portfolio investors had invested Rs 19,203 crore in the domestic capital market.

The investment was made so much last month
Last month i.e. in October, FPI invested Rs 16,464 crore in the domestic capital market. On one hand, in September, FPI invested Rs 6,557.8 crore in the domestic capital market. Prior to this, FPI sold in July and August.
